WE'VE SEEN videos of BMW's stunning new S1000RR pulling wheelies, stunting, sliding, racing a 700bhp Corvette, featured in a music video - we've even had a look inside the engine and now the company are using the 190bhp superbike as part of a new-style drag act - but not the Danny La Rue type. BMW Announces 2014 Model Updates and New K1600GT Sport

BMW announced a new variant to its six-cylinder K-series and other small updates to returning 2014 models. The 2014 models were first revealed last weekend’s BMW Motorrad Days celebration but we now have full details on the updates. The new 2014 BMW K1600GT Sport is based on the existing K1600GT but adds a special Sakhir Orange/Black Storm Metallic paint job, black gloss-coated wheels, a shorter windscreen and a sportier seat design.

Öhlins Introduces Electronically Adjustable Suspension System Replacement for BMW R1200GS ESA

Öhlins has introduced what it is calling the world’s first replacement electronic suspension system, with a new aftermarket replacement kit for the BMW R1200GS’s Enduro ESA system. Like BMW‘s ESA and ESA II technology, Öhlins’ system lets riders adapt a motorcycle’s suspension with the push of a button. Öhlins’ system works with the R1200GS’s ECU and the existing user interface.
