2012 BMW K1600GTL, This is a great opportunity to pick up a lightly used K1600GTL with only 4,783 one-owner miles. Fully loaded from the factory with a build consisting of heated grips, heated seats, power windshield, ride-by-wire riding modes, adaptive headlight, radio software with Bluetooth interface, central locking system, anti-theft alarm system, LED fog lights, dynamic traction control, ESA II, and tire pressure monitoring. This machine is in good condition and the paint looks great. It was set down gently on the left side but it still managed to scuff the bottom of the side case, rider footpeg, left side engine case guard and fog light mount and the housing. The fog light mount is slightly bent as well but overall this bike cannot be faulted for anything else. A safety inspection and service is pending but we don't expect to find any problems. Covered under factory warranty through 2/21/2015 so there's a healthy amount of warranty time remaining. Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.
BMW Sells Husqvarna to Pierer Industrie AG

BMW Announces Recall Campaign for K1600 Family Motorcycles
Fri, 25 Feb 2022The recall concerns all 2019-2020 BMW K1600 models due to the risk of rear suspension link failure caused by a manufacturing defect - the strength of the part does not meet the factory requirements. This linkage may be destroyed during normal road use, causing the rear of the motorcycle to fall onto the rear wheel. BMW dealers this spring will begin notifying owners of motorcycles that are subject of the recall campaign to visit an authorized dealership for a rear suspension linkage replacement.
