2012 BMW K 1600 GT, Bike Week Special !!!!!! Daytona Bike Week 2014 runs from March 7 thru the 16th. Imagine touring Florida and attending all the bike week festivities on a fabulous BMW K1600GT sport touring rocketship! Now is your chance, come to Florida and ride home in style on this incredible machine. Im a 61 year old lifetime biker and this by far the most technologically advanced, comfortable, powerful, and best handling bike Ive ever had. My last 2 bikes were both Yamaha FJR 1300s and there is no comparison. Now about this bike, this is a premium edition with the following options: Xenon adaptive headlight (yes it does look around corners at night) Integral ABS, Heated seats and grips, GPS Navigation, Cruise Control Multifunction Display with on board computer Luggage Rack, LED rear light, power accessory socket Bluetooth Audio System with tuner and SiriusXM radio Dynamic Traction Control with 3 settings Rain, Road, Dynamic Tire Pressure Monitoring display Electronic (on the fly) Suspension Adjustment Central Locking System, Anti Theft Alarm, Self Canceling Turn Signals Electrically adjustable windscreen self parking with setting memory Bike Cover I purchased my first bike in 1971 and have had many since, most were in line 4s from the famed Kawasaki Z-1 903cc in the 70s to the fine Yamaha FJRs I had before the BMW. Heres what impresses me most about this machine, its the first bike that Ive ever had that is vibration free. The six cylinder masterpiece that BMW created is incredible, when it revs up it sounds like a Formula One race car and with 160HP and amazing low end torque you find yourself smiling inside the helmet when accelerating. The mirrors are crystal clear, any speed, any gear, any rev range. It has small things that I have always wanted, the windscreen has memory so when you take off it returns to the last position setting automatically, on the FJRs I always had to reset the windscreen every time. The turn signals automatically reset based on distance not time, how many times I been riding my previous machines and look down and the turn signal would still be blinking. Im cruising the interstate with the suspension set on comfort I exit onto Hwy. 129 heading for the Dragon and change the suspension to sport without even slowing down. I have a Scala rider on my helmet and receive music or instruction from the Garmin Nav unit via Bluetooth no wires to mess with. The windscreen is sculpted based upon wind tunnel testing, this is the first cockpit I have ridden in with no wind buffeting. The K16 weighs about 100 pounds more than my FJRs but handles better in the tight curves up in the mountains due to the suspension and the dependable throttle response. Bought the bike new it has been garaged or covered every day. Selling due to cervical disc problems. Only communicate via phone.
