BMW's R1200RT has been setting the standard for touring motorcycles for many years, featuring high-performance, luxury, and ultimate rider and passenger comfort. The R1200RT is powered by BMW's reliable and smooth-running Boxer twin-cylinder for minimal engine vibration. The 1170cc air and oil-cooled engine produces 110 bhp and 85 ft-lbs. of torque for hours and hours of effortless highway cruising. A six-speed gearbox and an enclosed shaft drive transfer power to the rear wheel. BMW's Telelever front suspension system and the fully adjustable rear Paralever single-sided swing arm suspension system provide excellent handling and stability. The dual-disc front brakes and single-disc EVO brakes are controlled by BMW's Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), which is standard equipment. This Titan Silver Metallic 2009 BMW R1200RT is equipped with Heated Grips, Heated Seats, Cruise Control, Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA), Rear Luggage Rack, Hard Side Cases and a NAV 4 GPS Mount.

Mon, 21 Oct 2013Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
