2009 BMW R1200GS, *New arrival* We're not sure where or what Namibia is but we do know this is Orange and not Yellow even though it looks like Yellow in the photos. This is a nice GS with a factory build consisting of: - ESA II- on-board computer- Integral ABS II- heated grips- hand guards- side case mounts for vario cases The previous owner added the BMW vario topcase, GS Adventure rider footpegs, Akrapovic titanium muffler, BMW valve cover protectors and Rox bar risers. The bike is in good condition with only a few minor blemishes found on the right hand guard, front right corner of the seat, spark plug covers and valve cover protectors (they did their job). We will soon be completing a safety inspection and getting the bike current with the necessary service. It is available for sale and you can call to reserve this bike. 2023 BMW R NineT 100 Years and R 18 100 Years Editions First Look
Thu, 15 Dec 2022A hundred years of BMW Motorrad BMW Motorrad is commemorating its 100th anniversary with the release of Special Heritage editions of the R nineT and R18. BMW will produce 1,923 units of each model, recognizing the debut of the brand’s first motorcycle, the R 32, in September 1923 at the German Motor Show in Berlin. Both models come with a number of chrome and Option 719 parts, including some milled pieces and several paint-on-chrome surfaces.
Cal looking good
Sun, 20 Mar 2011Make no mistake Cal Crutchlow is doing an amazing job during his short career in Moto GP. He is asking not to be compared to Ben Spies but when you consider Spies had three Moto GP races under his belt at the same point in his career, Cal's 8th position in Qatar qualifying then 11th in the race is a pretty solid start. He ended 2010 as one of the best world's best superbike riders but the 800cc Moto GP machines require different riding skills. Watching trackside it is easy to see the the riders have to brake later backshift quicker before getting back on the throttle on the corner entry. With the help of advanced electronics this loads the front tyre earlier giving the potential for greater momentum that continues past the apex to the corner exit and beyond.
2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Confirmed
Fri, 13 Sep 2024Ninja joins Versys in getting a bigger engine Earlier this week, we confirmed engine details about a new Kawasaki Versys 1100, and found signs that suggest its 1,099cc Inline-Four engine will also be powering a replacement for the Ninja 1000SX. Motorcycle.com can now confirm that a Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX is on the way. Once again, homologation filings from Australia, where we first came across the evidence for the Versys 1100 are a font of knowledge.
