BMW Other tech info
BMW Other description
2007 BMW F650GS Dakar, Here's a very rare and very desirable BMW Motorcycle ready for some new adventures. The bike has had just two owners; the first guy purchased it here at Bob's in December of 2006 and owned it for just 19 months and then we sold it to the long time customer and friend of Bob's whose put most of the miles on it. He's done a very nice job of caring for it along with adding most all of the stuff you'd want on a bike that is capable of being ridden anywhere as the original owner left it basically as stock when acquired. The extras are also what make this example with under 10,000 original miles really special. Some were only added recently making them that much nicer. Starting with small stuff there's a very handy easy to rear battery health gauge plus hyperlites to keep you extra visible and safe on the roads. It has BMW and Touratech hand protectors, upper and lower engine and body work guards, the center stand ($395) which exceptionally few of these bikes have, a special built extended side stand ($425) that makes it much easier to upright this bike -- especially when off road, PIAA 510 driving lights and mounting arm with weatherproof switch ($750), low front fender to keep the bike cleaner, the BMW Dakar handlebar impact pad, rear locking storage compartment and luggage rack (this is where the seat release is located) and a set of Jesse Odyssey saddlebags ($995) with red & silver safety reflective tape to enhance your visibility on the road. These have quick release mounts with locks and keys and the interior top lid clips.A nicer example just cannot be found anywhere so if you're in search of an all around medium displacement BMW capable of world class or around the region adventures this is it.

BMW bling and new mittens
Fri, 08 Jul 2011An hour and a half in my shed was all it took to bolt two boxes of goodies from R&G Racing on to my S1000RR. The casing covers (£190.00), cotton reels (£25.49 ), frame inserts(£21.00) and crash protectors (£67.99)are a doddle to bolt on and come with all the necessary allen bolts. The multi adjustable rearsets (£350.00) are equally as easy to fit (they must be if I can do it) and also come with clear instructions.
Fisker + Lego = the Lauge Jensen Viking Cruiser Concept
Thu, 17 Apr 2014What do you get when you bring together the designer of the Fisker Karma and the great-grandson of the founder of Lego? The answer is this cruiser concept model by Danish brand Lauge Jensen called the Viking. The company was formed in 2004 by bike builder Uffe Lauge Jensen but later sold to industrialist Anders Kirk Johansen, the scion of one of Denmark’s wealthiest families and great-grandson of Ole Kirk Christiansen who invented Lego building blocks.
