It is currently set up with MV Bar Risers ($400) for a more comfortable seating position. These can easily be removed if you would like a more aggressive seating position. It also has a ZTechnik Titanium Slip on ($800) and aluminum bar ends with built in throttle lock. For those of you who are not familiar with this bike, it is equipped from the factory with electronic suspension, antilock Brembo brakes, and warmed handlebar grips. This K1200S is extremely powerful. After the exhaust was installed, it was dynoed at 148 rear wheel horsepower. 2014 BMW C evolution Electric Scooter Revealed

BMW has expanded its maxi-scooter lineup with a new electric-powered model. Officially revealed after a year of testing at various events in Europe such as the 2012 London Olympics, the BMW C evolution is now ready for production, joining the gas-powered C650GT and C600 Sport. The C evolution is powered by a liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor claiming an European Union-rated 15 hp, though if you really strain the motor peak output can reach 47 hp.

Consider that just a decade ago the factory S1000RR Superbike racer which BMW’s works riders Troy Corser and Leon Haslam raced in the 2011 WSBK series produced 216 bhp at 14,900 rpm, and it’s clear that the new MR super-roadster is a statement of intent that can’t be ignored.

BMW reported worldwide sales of 24,732 motorcycles over the first three months of 2013, a slight increase from the 24,373 motorcycles sold in the same quarter in 2012. These figures include sales of 1,110 Husqvarna motorcycles before BMW sold the company to KTM boss Stefan Pierer. Sales revenue from BMW Motorrad however was down 2.7% to 436 million euros (US$569.2 million) over the quarter from 448 million euros last year.
