2004 BMW R1150RT, This is a great twin-spark R1150RT in Titan Silver with only 39,145 miles. After taking it on trade we performed a safety inspection and then completed a 36,000 mile service, installed a new BMW gel battery, replaced the left fork seal, replaced the pinion seals in the final drive and replaced the fast idle lever. This machine is in good condition with only minor blemishes due to use. There are no signs of abuse or damage from a crash or drop. In addition the bike is equipped with heated grips, ABS, fog lights, power windshield, dual horns, BMW topcase and Mayer rider seat. 2007-2008 BMW K1200R, K1200S Recalled for Foaming Brake Fluid
Tue, 16 Oct 2012BMW is issuing a recall on the 2007-2008 K1200S, K1200R and K1200R Sport models due to a problem with the front brake hydraulics. In long rides at high rpms, engine vibrations may cause the full front brake fluid to foam. This would occur at a very narrow rev range and only when the brake fluid reservoir is filled to maximum.
AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season
Fri, 12 Apr 2013AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
