Thirty years in the making On October 11-13 this year at the annual 2024 Barber Vintage Festival, the world-leading Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum outside Birmingham, Alabama, will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its foundation in 1994. It marks the third decade of what its founder George W. Barber describes as “just having fun”!

WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.

2013 BMW C650GT Canadian Pricing Announced – Sort Of

BMW has started production of its new C600 Sport and C650GT but still hasn’t officially released pricing information for its two new maxi-scooters. BMW Canada however may have let slip pricing for the C650GT: CA$11,900 BMW Motorrad Canada is holding a contest to give away a C650GT, and the contest rules list the scooter’s MSRP. Of course, the $11,900 price tag is subject to change, especially as the scooter isn’t expected to arrive in Canada until late 2012 as a 2013 model.
