2002 BMW R1150R, *New arrival and available soon* The Atlanta Blue is one of our favorite colors and it looks great on the R1150R. The color is not as common either which makes it more appealing. This one has a factory build consisting of:- Integral ABS- Heated grips- Low seat- Accessory socket- Overdrive transmissionIn addition to the factory equipment there are the BMW system cases, BMW rear luggage rack, BMW touring windshield, BMW valve cover protectors, bar risers, Throttlemeister throttle controller and a Wunderlich low seat (the BMW low seat is also included). The bike has barely traveled and only has 16,740 miles. Other than a few nicks on the paint in the fuel tank area, the usual scuffs on the luggage and corroded fasteners here and there this machine is in very nice condition. Getting somewhat lost, however, are BMW’s existing K1600 range, which used to be the company’s representatives in the touring category. While still part of BMW’s lineup, the six-cylinder models have not been updated since the 2017 model year, not even receiving any changes to meet Euro 5 standards that came into effect last year.

With 193 crankshaft horsepower and a claimed dry weight of 404 pounds, BMW says the S1000RR has the best power-to-weight ratio of any production bike. And, by the way the S1000 lofts its front wheel onto Portimao’s front straight at 150 mph, we’re becoming believers!
