2002 BMW Other , Selling my 2002 R1150RS with app. 4600 ml I am the proud first owner and have been very meticulous with maintenance and upkeep. Needless to say the bike is accident free and has never being dropped. It has always been serviced by BMW in Boston, where I bought it and rode it home. It has many options including factory heated grips, Integral ABS, adjustable windshield, locking side cases keyed to the bike, a ZTechnik muffler for a more torque and horsepower. Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. 2009 BMW S1000RR Entering Production
Wed, 04 Feb 2009We’re finally able to share some pictures and info about the production version of BMW’s new literbike, the S1000RR. We now know that it has a claimed dry weight of 403 pounds, which should be competitive with its Japanese literbike rivals. The all-new inline-Four powerplant displaces 999cc, and its cylinder head is said to be very narrow and compact, with the valves actuated by “very small” cam followers that are nearly at Formula 1 levels in size.
