1998 BMW R1200C with 27, 755 mis. The color is cream. As shown in the pictures, the front of the fork sliders have some road rash in the clear coat. Otherwise, the bike is in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. Pay close attention to the following upgrades : Windshield, ANTILOCKING BRAKES Brakes, Leather Saddlebags, Warmed handlebar grips, Passenger back rest, Alloy rims (laced wheels were standard), Chrome Engine Guards, Fog Lamps, and Rear License Plate Lamps. The upgrades are all authentic BMW parts. The bike comes with 2 KEYS plus a Flat Wallet Key.

Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles

More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.

The annual Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este usually features some of the world’s most beautiful classic cars, but this year’s show had a special exhibit celebrating the 90th anniversary of BMW Motorrad. More than 6,000 people visited the BMW Group-organized Concorso d’Eleganza on the shore of Italy’s Lake Como. The BMW Motorrad exhibit featured some of the company’s most notable motorcycles spanning 90 years of history including the original BMW R32 that started it all in 1923.

Larry Pegram’s EBR 1190RX AMA Race Livery Looks Sharp!

In January news broke that Larry Pegram would be teaming up with Erik Buell Racing to race the 1190RX in AMA Superbike. At the time no official photos were revealed, but that’s all changed as Pegram posted these pictures of his completed 1190RX in full race livery on his Facebook page. These photos were captured during team testing in Florida, and the colors show off the all-American design motif.
