I never had any problem with it other than the clutch making a screeching noise, which was nicely resolved with a new Barnet Clutch pack and some added oil vent holes in the clutch basket.

Suspension upgrades were close to $2k! If you have ever has the chance to ride a K1200S with dual adjustable remote reservoir EXPENSIVE externally adjustable (Knob and 2 screw 3 way well 4 really if you add spring preload as an adjustment which it is) you WILL BE AMAZED at how stable and solid a motorcycle can actually feel WOW!

I have owned 7 bikes, and this one is by far my favorite. It easily handles two passengers and all of the luggage you can handle. I purchased this bike 5+ years ago, and have probably put an average of 600 miles on it per year. The tires and brakes are in excellent shape and working condition. The hard cases are in great shape and perfect working condition. I have taken excellent care of this bike, which has been garaged and covered when not in use. I have also changed the oil and filters regularly. Also included, are all of the items needed for the next service (oil, oil filter, oil filter tool, and air filter). I am also including a newer cover to shield the bike from dust and the elements. This bike is in the exact same condition that I purchased it. There are several markings on the bike that most people donâ€™t notice. When I purchased the bike, I was making aware the cruise control occasionally disengages. DR-Z400 gets modern successors Suzuki announced all-new successors to its popular DR-Z400S dual-sport and DR-Z400SM supermoto. Featuring a new twin-spar frame, a new 398cc engine, a ride-by-wire throttle, and RM-Z-inspired styling, the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM modernize two long-time favorites, while also returning them to the European market thanks to Euro5+ compliance. Both DR-Z models share the same liquid-cooled DOHC Single.

More tech for the Ténéré For 2025, Yamaha has brought technology first seen on the MT-07 to its CP2 Twin-sharing sibling, the Ténéré 700. In addition to Yamaha’s Chip Controlled Throttle (see: ride-by-wire), the T7 also gets updated styling, suspension, and ergonomics – all of which sound promising, but is more tech what Ténéré customers are looking for? Yamaha’s switch to a ride-by-wire throttle has opened up options for throttle maps and traction control settings, but cruise control is still suspiciously absent.
