$0 Down AND 8.79% for 84 Months WAC for a limited time!!! Please have financing in place BEFORE you bid.

Luxury and Touring in one package!

If you have never ridden one of these 6-Cylinder Screamers, you are in for a Treat... All of the right equipment and in near perfect condition. Come see for yourself... When luxury is freed of all ballast, it moves to a new level. At the very top of this evolution is the K 1600 GTL - a high-class touring bike like none before it. With the most compact and efficient in-line 6-cylinder engine ever installed in a touring production motorcycle...

The ergonomics of the K 1600 GTL are designed for long trips and leave nothing to be desired for either rider or passenger in terms of comfort. The slim design in the area of the rider's seat and the fact that the handlebars reach far back allows a relaxed seating position - for hours and over hundreds of miles. The pillion passenger enjoys a sizable seating area and a comfortable backrest.

The GTL makes luxury light-footed. This is because its unique chassis provides excellent handling. With a totally direct ride feel due to the ground-breaking Duolever front suspension. At the rear, it is the Paralever that puts the power of the engine onto the road...

Every detail is designed for maximum riding pleasure. A motorcycle for people who are looking for a new kind of supremacy. Unstoppable touring...

2007-2008 BMW K1200R, K1200S Recalled for Foaming Brake Fluid

Tue, 16 Oct 2012

BMW is issuing a recall on the 2007-2008 K1200S, K1200R and K1200R Sport models due to a problem with the front brake hydraulics. In long rides at high rpms, engine vibrations may cause the full front brake fluid to foam. This would occur at a very narrow rev range and only when the brake fluid reservoir is filled to maximum.

BMW Acquires Original Factory

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

BMW has acquired a 3.2-acre parcel of land that includes the company’s original factory. Built in 1918, the historic site in the Milbertshofen district of Munich, Germany, housed BMW’s original aircraft engine production plant. The company says the land will become the new home for BMW Group Classic, a subsidiary that documents BMW’s past.

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
