BMW K-Series description

Selling my 2008 BMW k1200S. As you can see it was wrecked, but it is in surprisingly great shape. Good engine and transmission, runs strong, and very low miles @ 9k. Will need a new front wheel and new tires in order to be ride-able, then a new headlight cluster to be street legal. A few new parts will get it like new, with some labor. I even have an entire new set of fairings still in the box. Just don't have the time to fix her up. Lucky You! Have the old rear wheel and tire so it can be rolled when needed. Engine alone is worth $3000 if you have time to part it out. New Fairings were $750 & ready for you to install. Very easy fix. Also had the bike completely serviced top to bottom 1k miles before the spill. And yes unfortunately a branded title. You can call BMW of Western Oregon to verify the recent service @ (503) 597-7097 just give them the vin..     Sold As Is.

Under the agreement, BMW and TVS will work together to develop a new model with an engine displacement smaller than 500cc.

Vines motorcycle scrappage

Fri, 17 Jul 2009

Following this year’s earlier Budget announcement about the government’s car scrappage scheme, Vines of Guildford BMW has created a similar scheme for motorcycles. Bike owners with motorcycles bought five or more years ago will be given £1,000 off the list price of a new BMW motorcycle when using their old bike as a part-exchange*.  Riders just need to ensure they have at least six months MOT left and the bike must be taxed with clear HPI.  Just like the Government’s car scrappage scheme has been put in place to help drivers, and the car industry, through tough economic times, Vines of Guildford wanted to offer motorcyclists the same opportunity, to purchase a brand new BMW motorcycle with the benefit of the £1,000 part exchange. As well as enjoying this benefit on the purchase price of a new BMW bike, riders can also look forward to complimentary panniers with all new R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure models, and complimentary Zumo sat nav system with the new R1200RT until 30 Sept, plus access to BMW’s Select Finance options to get riders on their bikes straight away with the option to change their new bike every two to three years.

Harley's DEI Climbdown Isn't the Woke-ism Defeat You Think it Is

Wed, 21 Aug 2024

You may have seen this week that Harley-Davidson has decided to shelve its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Ostensibly, this action came as a result of criticism the company received from right-wing activists - certainly that's the way it's being reported in most media outlets. The thing is, I'm pretty sure that's incorrect.
