BMW K-Series tech info
BMW K-Series description
This bike is pristine. Like new. Every option available that year: abs, heated seats and grips, real cruise control, automatic suspension adjustment.... All warranty items complied with. All maintenance performed by San Diego BMW; record on file. This bike is 100% operationally ready and trouble free. Will require tires in a couple-few thousand miles. Next service due in 3,500 miles (about $650 at dealer?).
Remus exhaust installed, will provide original also. Never laid down. Bike is worth $7500. I'm selling at $6500, so don't try to talk me down with a bunch of crap about how complex a bike it is and how expensive repairs are and blah blah blah. This bike kicks ass. Period. Either you want it or you don't. I look forward to your serious cash or money order offer to come claim your new bike. |

Transport Canada Recalls 2013 BMW R1200GS for Traction Control Bug
Thu, 21 Feb 2013The 2013 BMW R1200GS hasn’t arrived in showrooms yet and it’s already been subjected to its second recall in Canada. Fortunately, this means the problems should be corrected before BMW‘s updated adventure-tourer gets delivered to customers. Earlier this month, Transport Canada announced a recall for the new R1200GS for a potential transmission oil leak.
2014 BMW R1200RT Spied Testing
Thu, 21 Mar 2013With the new 2013 BMW R1200GS now launching worldwide, it really should be no surprise BMW is working on more models using the GS’s new liquid-cooled boxer engine. A contributor to French site MotoMag happened upon a crew of test riders on heavily camouflaged test mules of what appears to be the 2014 BMW R1200RT. The swirly camo pattern does little to hide the new “precision cooling” liquid-cooled engine, easily identified by the pipes exiting from the bottom of the cylinders.
