This 2005 BMW K1200LT is in excellent condition. The bike has only 2043 miles on it and the tires are in great shape. The K1200LT combines luxury car features with the irreplaceable experience of BMW motorcycle riding. It has been designed for high performance journeys over seemingly endless lengths of roads. This bike has the following upgrades, add ons and features... heated seats, heated grips, electrical center stand, fully adjustable passenger pegs (up/down & front/back), j style highway pegs, Z Technik V Stream extra wide and extra tall windshield (which is electrically adjustable), cruise control, reverse gear, map light under dash, vanity light in top case (with mirror), wind deflectors and a CD player plus CD changer in bag. The bike also comes with 2 keys with fobs, owners manual and several other books (see photos) and the tool kit. The only blemish on this bike are some marks on both side bag trim (can be seen in photos). Other than that this bike is in great condition. Again it has only 2043 miles on it so the bike is basically brand new. This bike has all the comfort you could want for hitting the open road and not looking back. My first meeting with a BMW GS was an unfortunate one. It was going back a few years now (certainly pre-Charlie McGregor era) Having just picked up this new model, I’d ridden 100 miles on a warm summer’s evening to reach my house by dusk. Mindful of the fact that said house contained two frenetic, bark-happy border collies and a small, sleeping child, I cut the ignition, whipped the clutch in and planned a gentle coast up to the area outside my front door.

BMW announced its four-member celebrity jury panel for its globe-spanning “Ride of Your Life” R1200GS adventure contest. The panel is comprised of Academy-Award winner Adrien Brody, Paris-Dakar Rally winner Jutta Kleinschmidt, actor Rick Yune and noted motorcycle adventurer Charley Boorman. The panel will select five winners for the “Ride of Your Life” contest (also known as the “One World, One GS” contest) to promote the new 2013 BMW R1200GS.

2013 BMW F800GS and F700GS Side Stand Switch Recall Expands to US
