This is a 1998 K1200RS in the highly desired yellow checkered board color configuration. I bought this motorcycle a few years ago with only 660 miles on it. It has less that 19,000 miles now and it has been meticulously maintained and always kept in a garage. The motorcycle was recently serviced a few months ago and had the following work performed. · EBC HH brake pads installed in front · Brake and clutch fluid replaced · Radiator flushed and refilled · Factory options include: BMW Hard luggage bags keyed to ignition. Michael Dunlop to Race for BMW at 2014 Isle of Man TT
Wed, 12 Feb 2014BMW Motorrad UK has signed seven-time winner Michael Dunlop to race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and other international road races. Dunlop will be the first factory-backed BMW rider in 50 years, and will try to be the first rider to win a TT race on a BMW since Georg Meier won in 1939 on a RS 255 Kompressor. Dunlop, nephew of the great Joey Dunlop, was the star of the 2013 Isle of Man TT, winning four races and finishing second in the Senior TT on Honda machines.
Pirelli Announces Diablo Powercruiser and Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft Tires
Tue, 03 Dec 2024Pirelli announced two new tires for 2025, a new high-performance cruiser tire and a dirt tire that will be used in the Motocross World Championship. The new Diablo Powercruiser is the first tire from Pirelli's Diablo range designed specifically for cruisers and baggers. Like the other Diablo tires, the Powercruiser is a high-performance tire, designed for sportier riding with slick shoulders and the Pirelli 's signature "Flash" lightning-shaped groove design.
