This is a beautiful K75 with color/key matched bags. This is a normal seat height bike with battery covers, S belly pan and a Parabellum Scout. It's a one of kind bike and immaculate. Completely gone through mechanically with a cosmetic restoration 2014-2015. The following has been done: - Astral Blue paint is the correct color for the VIN and is the original color of the bike. Paint is new. - New Metzler Lasertec tires - New Corbin Dual Canyon - Spline lube and inspection, new battery, fluids, oil level glass, hoses/filters, gromets, hoses, valve adjustment, plugs, forks removed disassembled and honed, new seals and fluids, new steering head bearing. - New correct heated grips. - New wind screen from parabellum. Sun, 20 Mar 2011Make no mistake Cal Crutchlow is doing an amazing job during his short career in Moto GP. He is asking not to be compared to Ben Spies but when you consider Spies had three Moto GP races under his belt at the same point in his career, Cal's 8th position in Qatar qualifying then 11th in the race is a pretty solid start. He ended 2010 as one of the best world's best superbike riders but the 800cc Moto GP machines require different riding skills. Watching trackside it is easy to see the the riders have to brake later backshift quicker before getting back on the throttle on the corner entry. With the help of advanced electronics this loads the front tyre earlier giving the potential for greater momentum that continues past the apex to the corner exit and beyond.
Hero MotoCorps Hires Ex-BMW Designer Braunsperger
Mon, 25 Aug 2014Hero MotoCorp has hired former BMW designer Markus Braunsperger to lead the Indian company’s research and development division. Braunsperger once held a similar position with BMW in the early 2000s, developing models such as the K1200S before moving on to BMW’s automobile division where he helped design the 5, 6 and 7 series sedans as well as the X3, X5 and X7 SUVs. Braunsperger will head Hero’s new R&D center in Rajasthan, India, starting in October.
