2014 BMW R1200GS Adventure Revealed
Mon, 07 Oct 2013BMW has updated its R1200GS Adventure for 2014, giving it similar updates introduced on the R1200GS including the liquid-cooled 1170cc boxer engine. The more off-road capable version of the GS now has more power than ever before, as well as the option of coming with BMW’s semi-active suspension. Celebrity Jurors Named for BMW R1200GS Contest
Mon, 26 Nov 2012BMW announced its four-member celebrity jury panel for its globe-spanning “Ride of Your Life” R1200GS adventure contest. The panel is comprised of Academy-Award winner Adrien Brody, Paris-Dakar Rally winner Jutta Kleinschmidt, actor Rick Yune and noted motorcycle adventurer Charley Boorman. The panel will select five winners for the “Ride of Your Life” contest (also known as the “One World, One GS” contest) to promote the new 2013 BMW R1200GS.

In addition, it is equipped with a passenger seat, two extra LED lights and cruise control as standard. If desired, both glass and bags can be quickly removed, quickly turning the touring into a cruiser.
