BMW HP4 Competition tech info

BMW HP4 Competition description
For sale is my 2014 BMW HP4 Competition, this bike is in pristine shape, I am selling it due to a transfer to an area that is not conductive to sport riding. I will assume that you know what this bike is if you are looking at it, (please google "BMW VIN Decoder", enter the last 7 of the VIN and it will give you all of the manufacturing specs). This is the Competition version so it has the semi-active suspension (only year the HP4 had it), carbon fiber panels, blue alloy rims, among other things. I have added a BMW "High Comfort" seat recovered by Luimoto (with jell packs added), I have the stock seat and pillion seat as well as the pillion foot pegs. This bike is a work of art, it sat in my living room last winter, but it really needs to be ridden either on the street or on the track. BMW holds the title so we will work that out (I have worked with them before and clear title can be had in 3 days), and, sorry, there are no test rides on this bike unless you buy, we can ride together, but the only people who have ridden this bike are the factory and I, not even my dealer. I am pricing this to sell, happy bidding! |

2015 BMW K1600GT and K1600GTL Get Traction Control as Standard Equipment
Fri, 04 Jul 2014BMW is updating its big six-cylinder touring bikes with traction control as standard equipment and a number of new optional add-ons including keyless remote ignition. Previously available as part of BMW’s factory-installed Safety Package option, the Dynamic Traction Control system will now be standard on all 2015 K1600GT and K1600GTL models. Winter weather but summer carries on.
Tue, 14 Jun 2011Aye, it’s been a another good week in the world of Niall Mackenzie. My friends at Moto Direct sent me a new RST Pro Series suit to try out, I acquired some new rubber for my S10000RR and young Taylor Mac splashed home to 12th place on his Aprilia in the 125cc British Grand Prix. Being no fashion guru and pretty ancient now I’m satisfied the brightest suit I’ve ever climbed into looks the biz.
