BMW Helps Vertically Challenged

Tue, 02 Dec 2008

No matter where they go or what they do, it seems that people who are vertically challenged always get the ‘short’ end of the stick, pardon the pun. Historically, if a pint-sized person wanted to get into the hobby of motorcycling, their choices were limited to bikes like the Suzuki Marauder, Ninja 250 or HD Sportster (the thought alone makes my back hurt.) Here's what Feridax (Shoei's UK importer) have to say about it: The New Shoei NEOTEC – Fact File: See clearly in safety – Shoei’s first built-in, drop-down sun visor boasts additional space within the shell with no compromise of safety in the front  absorption layer.

BMW Reports Q1 2013 Results

Thu, 02 May 2013

BMW reported worldwide sales of 24,732 motorcycles over the first three months of 2013, a slight increase from the 24,373 motorcycles sold in the same quarter in 2012. These figures include sales of 1,110 Husqvarna motorcycles before BMW sold the company to KTM boss Stefan Pierer. Sales revenue from BMW Motorrad however was down 2.7% to 436 million euros (US$569.2 million) over the quarter from 448 million euros last year.
