Bike is in great condition, have been
used for only 1 season, 6000 miles were done in 1 trip to Los Angeles summer 2014. New break pads front and rear, new front fork, did 4 services on the bike, 600miles, 2500, 7500 and 1 year. Warranty expires in December 2016. Bike was purchased new in May 2014 but was registered from the dealer in Dec 2013. It is an excellent bike, perfect for commute as well as long trip, good speed and maneuverability. Lot of fun. I am only selling because i bought a sportbike May 2015 and haven't been riding the BMW as much as I thought I would. BMW Sets New Annual Record for Motorcycle Sales – With One Month Still to Go

Even more impressively, BMW reached that mark by the end of November and still has a whole month’s worth of sales to pad its record. In 2012, BMW sold 106,358 motorcycles and scooters to set a new company record.
Marc Marquez To Join Factory Ducati MotoGP Squad
Wed, 05 Jun 2024Image: Ducati Corse Eight-time World Champion Marc Marquez is set to join Francesco Bagnaia in the factory Ducati squad for the next two MotoGP seasons. Ducati Corse has confirmed that Marquez will race in Ducati Lenovo Team colors, replacing Enea Bastianini at the end of the 2024 season. Marquez, currently with Gresini Racing, will team up with Bagnaia, the reigning back-to-back premier class World Champion, in the iconic Bologna red.
BMW Quitting WSBK After 2013 Season
Wed, 24 Jul 2013BMW announced it will withdraw its factory support from the World Superbike Championship at the end of the 2013 season. According to BMW, the company will concentrate on its production models including the addition of new small-displacement models and reaching developing markets. BMW Motorrad will also shift resources to other motorsports activities such as supporting customer racing efforts in both international and domestic competitions.
