BMW GS Rider Rescues Cow Calf From Canal [Video]

As a motorcyclist I’ve made it my duty to stop and lend assistance any time I see a fellow rider that looks like they’re in need, a sort of paying it forward mentality for the many times I found myself in need of a hand. In most instances the rider stopped on the road’s edge had pulled to the side temporarily to resolve an innocuous issue, but occasionally a rider genuinely needed my help. In either case the riders were grateful that a fellow motorcyclist was checking up on them.

With no news coming from the team in Modena, Italy, we wondered, what’s CRP been up to lately? While not much has been said publicly for months, CRP has been working feverishly behind the scenes to strengthen its staff.

2009 BMW S1000RR Entering Production

We’re finally able to share some pictures and info about the production version of BMW’s new literbike, the S1000RR. We now know that it has a claimed dry weight of 403 pounds, which should be competitive with its Japanese literbike rivals. The all-new inline-Four powerplant displaces 999cc, and its cylinder head is said to be very narrow and compact, with the valves actuated by “very small” cam followers that are nearly at Formula 1 levels in size.
