BMW F-Series description

I'm the second owner on this F650GS.  It is lowered for those height challenged riders that don't like toe-dancing when stopped. The bike has been down to South America and back and was a daily rider before I purchased it with 35k on the clock 31 January 2015.  I moved away from the North Georgia and don't ride it much any longer. Bike was dealer maintained until I purchased it.  I do my own maintenance on my Beemers.  Bike is in excellent mechanical condition.  Come with moto lights, pulsating high beam, flash to steady brake light, front and rear tires in the wrapper, Touratech Panniers w/ some dings, BMW top box, tank soft panniers, led alternator light to show charge, battery is two years old and stays on tender.  new brake pads in the wrapper for tire change, high brush guards, oil tank lock, heated grips, tall windscreen (have OEM), twin loud horns to scare the deer and cows, engine guard, throttle lock in the box, and a very comfortable seat for the Iron Butt rider.  Bring your gear and ride it home.

BMW 1000RR and the Honda C70, are they indestructible?

Wed, 20 Apr 2011

I’ve managed 1374 miles on the Michelin Power Pures (mostly on track) and although we’ve had some decent temperatures they still look like new so there’s plenty meat left for another month at least. I’ve been running them at 30psi front and 32psi rear and find they warm up after a few miles but I wouldn’t say the temperature comes any quicker than any of the competition so it has to be four miles before I get brave. I’ve had a few out the seat moments with my BMW but I have got the rear suspension  set pretty hard (8 rebound,8 compression, two turns on pre load) and in slick mode, so 190bhp in first gear at the Knockhill hairpin is always going to be dodgy.
