2003 BMW F 650 GS
Low miles (19xxx) fuel injected single cylinder rotax engine. Bike is ridden, mileage will increase. New Front tire, rear tire 75%. Fresh oil change with filter, brake bleed and flush. Radiator coolant and fork oil flushed new in fall. New chain last fall. Freshly cleaned, lubed and adjusted. OEM center stand and skid plate. Givi windscreen All cables lubed and adjusted. Valves checked at 12k, no adjustment needed. ABS ( anti-lock braking system) Will include battery tender and pigtails. GS handlebars with aftermarket grip warmers and oem BMW heater switch. upgraded spark plug Clean California title and registration good thru 7/2016. Happy Trails expedition boxes / panniers. Lockable with key however missing lids which can be bought on their site. Bike looks great from 5 ft, rides better and gets over 65 mile per gallon. Low seat height, upright riding position and low center of gravity make this bike great for beginners and city riders. Very light, very flickable and a blast to ride. Would not hesitate to ride this anywhere as is. Only defects are broken passing / highbeam button, broken hinge on gas cap and one letter (W of BMW) ground down on right side case cover. Neither one effect function or performance. |

Transport Canada Recalls 2013 BMW R1200GS for Traction Control Bug

Fortunately, this means the problems should be corrected before BMW‘s updated adventure-tourer gets delivered to customers. Earlier this month, Transport Canada announced a recall for the new R1200GS for a potential transmission oil leak.
BMW Releases The M 1000 RR 50 Years M Edition (UPDATED)

BMW has released an exclusive anniversary edition of its road-going superbike, the M 1000 RR, to celebrate nearly a century of motorcycle production, but more specifically, to celebrate 50 years of BMW M vehicles. The most striking and distinctive feature of the 50th-anniversary edition M 1000 RR is the color – Sao Paulo Yellow.
Dainese to Develop Airbag-Equipped Riding Gear for BMW; Technology Coming to BMW Motorcycles in 2015
Wed, 17 Jul 2013BMW announced a new joint project with Dainese that would develop a new line of rider equipment using the Italian company’s integrated airbag technology. The two companies will also be working on integrating the technology to BMW’s motorcycles. The new line will make use of Dainese’s D-Air technology developed by MotoGP racers such as Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.
