I am selling my BMW 650 GS . It is a 2001 motorcycle used with 29,000 miles . The motorcycle is in great shape , just normal wear for a bike of its age . It is a fun , easy , comfortable bike to ride , can tour on highways for hours comfortly and light enough to handle dirt back roads and trails .
It has ABS brakes and heated handgrips to help ride during the colder months . Aftermarket Leather Corbin seat for added comfort , taller touring windshield to keep wind off you during longer trips . Touratec additional side lights for more visibility and sight , left side light is very high powered LED operated by a switch . It has an accessory port for add one like gps , heated suits ... Has an easy access cable for hooking up a charger to the battery . Comes with two BMW expandable hard cases , easy on , off and lockable . EICMA 2012: BMW Motorrad Celebrates 90th Anniversary with Special Edition R1200GS, R1200R and R1200RT
Tue, 13 Nov 2012BMW announced it will introduce an all-new Boxer to celebrate its 90th year of motorcycle production, but you didn’t think the German manufacturer would stop there without a couple of other special edition models, did you? To mark the anniversary, BMW revealed special edition “90 Jahre BMW Motorrad” versions of its R1200GS adventure bike, R1200R roadster and R1200RT tourer in Milan at the 2012 EICMA Show. All three models come in a Sapphire Black Metallic color with matte black engines, gold anodized suspension and brakes, and asphalt gray metallic swingarms, trailing arms and rear frames, and granite gray metallic cylinder head covers, and a nickel-plated polished brass plate on the upper fork.

2024 GS Trophy Day 3 – Challenging the Omaruru
Wed, 18 Sep 2024Team USA’s third day began with a total disqualification from the overall standings. Kirk Graydon, our competitor from South Carolina, began feeling ill during day two, making it into camp on fumes and eventually getting an IV and nausea medication to help relieve his symptoms. With no appetite and a shot from the doc to help him sleep, Graydon slowly started feeling better, but elected not to continue the GS Trophy alongside his teammates the following day due to safety concerns for himself and others.
