We sent Forsyth to the TT

HELLO from the 2010 Isle of Man TT.

John McGuinness has just broken down out of the lead of the Superbike race, so too did Connor Cummins and there was the likeable Ian Hutchinson to hoover up the top accolade all for himself and the Padgetts squad. You’ve got to be in it to win it, etc. Ian deserved it. He pounded in a string of 128mph laps (including pitstops) and a few in the 130s. Yikes.

Klaus Klaffenbock has just won the sidecar race, too. The whole day has been frustrating for the riders and teams because thick mist in Douglas (nowhere else) delayed the start of the first race of TT week by three and a half hours.

Can you image that as a rider? Get psyched up, get let down, etc, etc. The build up to a TT is worrying enough as it is.

Plenty more to tell you about the past forty-eight hours but as I haven’t slept for a day and a half, sleep beckonszzz. 

I snapped this feller at Union Mills and he obviously felt the same as me. But a pavement for a pillow? I don’t think so…
