Video: On-board lap of the NW200
Thu, 19 May 2011Watch this video and marvel at the utter dedication and bravery required to ride the NW200 Triangle Circuit. This is shot from a 600 Supersport bike so the speeds are considerably lower than Stuart Easton clocked last year on his superbike. 204mph was his fastest trap-time in 2010.
It looked like Easton was on course to run at the front of the pack this year, too. However, a fall on his first Superstock lap of this morning's practice session at the fearsomely quick Station Corner has left the on-form Scot with severe pelvic injuries which are being operated on tonight at Belfast hospital.
Easton is currently lying third in the BSB series on his MSS Colchester Kawasaki ZX-10R superbike.
A heartfelt 'get well soon' Stuart, from all of us at Visordown.
