Fri, 20 May 2011

Press release from MotoGB:

For those Ducati Monster owners that only want to add pure Italian made products to their Ducati, then look no further.   Top Italian performance exhaust manufacturers, LeoVince, have just released some new slip-on exhausts, called the LV-ONE,  for the Monster.
After a years research into what customers want from an exhaust, namely high quality, better sound, better performance ...and all at a good price...LeoVince  came up with their LV-ONE design.  The casings special finish looks like titanium, the exhausts are all 'E' approved for road use, and finished off with their new techno-polymer tailcones.
All this for just £475 a set.
Performance :  power is up around 3bhp depending upon model, but most impressive is the extra torque that these LeoVince's add to the Monster, with the biggest torque gains between a very useable 4400 up to 7000, with a maximum torque gain of a whopping 18% at 4400rpm (as tested on the 796 model).

Technical info :  Silencers and link pipes are full AISI304 stainless construction, silencers have a special slim oval shape with top and bottom sections making for very compact silencers, brand new design tailcones made from techno-polymer, removable db baffles for increased sound and performance. Beautifully shaped carbon fibre brackets and support straps included.  Full mounting kits are supplied so there is nothing else to buy.  Exhausts are set up at the factory to run on stock fuelling.
Weight : stock exhausts weigh in at 6.70k, LeoVince's are 4.83k for the all-stainless LV-ONE, whereas the carbon version drops to just 4.18k    Model fitment :   Ducati Monster 696 2008>10,  Monster 796 2010, Monster 1100 2009>10, Monster 1100S 2009>10
