Harley-Davidson Unveils New Road King Special
Wed, 01 Feb 2017The new modification for 2017 received a Milwaukee-Eight engine, a new fork and rear shock. With a dry weight of 355kg, the bike is powered by a 1750cc Milwaukee-Eight 107 V-twin engine delivering 150Nm at 3250rpm. The same unit is put not only on the Road King line, but also on other bikes from Milwaukee. Wheelbase Special - 1625 mm, steering column angle - 26 °. The company focuses on improving handling and adjustability of the suspension: a 49mm Dual Bending Valve (DBV) fork with 117mm of travel delivers linear damping characteristics, while rear shocks with larger pistons and emulsion tubes have a 30% greater spring preload adjustability, which can now also be set using the hydraulic regulator.
