Ducati Issues New Recalls For 1199 Panigale
Wed, 07 May 2014Ducati has issued a recall on 2083 1199 Panigale and Panigale S models regarding an electronics issue. The recall involves a handlebar switch wiring problem that can result in failures for a variety of components, including the turn indicators, horn, headlights, and instrument panel.
The recall affects both U.S. and Canadian 1199 Panigale models (not the 899) produced between March 2012 and August 2013. Ducati says it will notify owners by mail on how to address the issue, but if you own a Panigale and believe it to be affected by the recall, it’s best to take it to your nearest dealer for further action.
