2014 World Supersport Provisional Entry List

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Supersport Championship, with 23 riders including two to be announced at a later date.
The provisional lists includes riders representing four different manufacturers: Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta and Yamaha. Honda is the most popular manufacturer with ten riders (though two are listed as TBA). Kawasaki is next with seven riders, followed by the four Yamahas and the two MV Agusta riders.
Meanwhile, Yamaha will no doubt be missing the services of 2013 champion Sam Lowes who has left the series for an opportunity to race in the Moto2 World Championship. The Yakhnich Motorsport team which ran Lowes’ campaign last year has also left Yamaha for MV Agusta and the F3 675.
The 2014 World Supersport Championship begins Feb. 23 at Phillip Island in Australia.
