This outstanding 1990 Yamaha V Max 1200 has just been professionally serviced, tuned and detailed (including new battery, full carburetion system rebuild, clutch and brake system overhauls; more than $1,600 in receipts) after having recently emerged from being in storage for the past fifteen years.  The motorcycle is truly an amazing "time capsule" example of raw street power and muscle.  The bike is completely stock and in original factory configuration and tune. It needs nothing and is in amazing mechanical and cosmetic condition.  Pre-sale inspections welcome and encouraged. Seller will assist the winning bidder with shipping arrangements and all shipping fees are the winning bidder's responsibility.

this is a restored 1985 yamah vmax.  the bike runs great, looks great and sounds great.  people are always checking it out when driving by or parked. has a custom paint job...except for some small things, we really tried to bring the bike back to its former glory.  the speedometer is not the original one, i had to buy a used one so the mileage is not correct.  i have had the bike for about 2 years and put 6000 miles on it.  when i say that it has been restored, the cases have been split and we replaced bearings, went throughout the entire engine and made sure that it was sound.

Photos Of This Weekend’s Denver Endurocross Track

Fri, 03 Oct 2014

This weekend the EnduroCross championship makes its way to Denver and the National Events Center for the fifth round of the nine-round series. Truckloads of dirt, mountains of rock and piles of logs are coming together to create an EnduroCross course that’s sure to challenge racers and entertain fans.  Excitement will be a mile-high this weekend as the EnduroCross Championship puts three different race winners into an epic battle for valuable points before the halfway point in the series. Beta/GEICO-backed Cody Webb has led since his first round victory in Las Vegas, but KTM’s five-time champion Taddy Blazusiak is hot on his heels after a big win at the last round in Atlanta and at X-Games. And don’t count out Colton Haaker.

Sway: An All-Electric, Leaning Three-Wheeler – Video

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

Whatever you do, don’t call the Sway an electric version of the Piaggio MP3. While it’s true the Sway does have two forward wheels and one trailing behind, the similarities end there. Oh, and unlike the MP3, the Sway is still in Beta testing.
