The Monster 696 is a great all-around bike that is perfect for a beginner but still plenty of bike for an experienced rider.  It's lightweight and easy to handle.  It has plenty of torque to make you smile every time you crack open the throttle, but it can also be ridden as tamely as you like.  You decide; take it easy or let the Monster out and tear it up.  The handling and brakes are what you would expect from a Ducati: superb!  This one has only 674 miles on it and it is truly nearly perfect.  The footpeg mounts show a little wear from normal use and the area of the tank right above the front of the seat has some very minor scratches from being leaned on while riding.  This could be easily buffed out or covered with a tank protector.

From an EnduroCross press release: Factory Beta and Stillwell Performance-backed Cody Webb took a decisive win tonight in Salt Lake Citys inaugural AMA GEICO EnduroCross event. The win was Webbs second after taking the first round victory in Las Vegas and puts him and his Beta two-stroke 300 into the points lead. The race fans in attendance at the Energy Solutions Arena saw a night go almost perfectly for GEICO-supported Webb.

The biggest changes are smaller displacements for most of the four-stroke lineup and the adoption of features previously offered on the Factory-edition variants.
