    RC45 envy. Pure and simple.

    Tue, 19 Jul 2011

I spotted this RC45 in the garages at the Spa Bikers' Days Classic. I couldn't find the owner so I'm afraid I don't know anything about it, other than what you can see here. It's been nudged into this century with Ohlins superbike forks and Brembo monobloc brakes and an Ohlins rear shock.

Tag translation: “The Arrecife Range: Now several sizes smaller”, I thought Europeans were hip to this kind of thing… Check out the uncensored photo and a controversial Aprilia TV AD after the jump. Not so bad.

The reigning champion scored his third double-win round of the season while his teammate Loris Baz added a pair of second-place finishes. David Salom on the Kawasaki’s factory EVO entry was also the top rider in the new sub-class for both races to top off a strong weekend for the Team Green.
