Aprilia Tuono V4 description

2013 Aprilia TUONO V4, Here is a bike that really has no rivals. Whatever competition the Tuono has taken part in, it has emerged the uncontested winner and most impressive protagonist. Unrivalled on the naked racing scene, the Tuono has even taken on the fastest superbikes on their home ground the racetrack and won.On the road the Tuono is in a class of its own. On the racetrack it is a proven winner. Hungry for success, the Tuono has been an exceptional flag-bearer for Aprilia s motorcycle design philosophy even outside its native Italy, and has demonstrated its prowess in epic races like the Isle of Mann TT and the Macao GP. Now the Tuono 1000V4 has picked up where the victorious Tuono Racing left off, with even better technical characteristics and performance. With the arrival of the new Factory version, the most racing naked and the meanest on the road clearly demonstrates its racing spirit. The Tuono 1000V4 delivers power that is simply unthinkable for any other twin, with a chassis that is more sophisticated than ever and easily on a par with the best superbikes. The new Tuono 1000V4 is a truly professional machine for all those riders who demand the state of the art in technology and the absolute maximum in performance. Expert riders with a taste for the exceptional will know how to appreciate the record-beating performance of this stupendous street-fighter.

For sale? Zero-mile Aprilia RS250 Cup

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

This zero-mile Aprilia RS250 Cup belongs to a former colleague of mine and he might be willing to sell it. Originally intended for the USA where they ran an RS250 Cup series, this bike was purchased from New Orleans and then shipped to the UK, where it's now in storage just outside of London. Due to the fact it's never turned a wheel in anger, it's something of a one-off.

2024 Aprilia RS 660 Extrema Review

Thu, 28 Dec 2023

Track trickster Photos by Aprilia Aprilia’s measured but inexorable rise to the front of the MotoGP pack in recent months, with two victories in three races plus a Sprint race win, all inside the space of 30 days, has reaffirmed the Piaggio-owned brand’s sporting credentials at the highest level. [Unfortunately for them, this was the extent of Aprilia’s race wins for the year -TS] It’s also served as a parting testimony to the late Roberto Colaninno, Chairman/CEO of Piaggio who passed away on August 19, just days after his 80th birthday and a fortnight after Aleix Espargaró’s Silverstone race victory saw Aprilia turn the tables on its Ducati rivals. For stock market wheeler-dealer Colaninno deserves credit for taking his eye off the balance sheet long enough to give Aprilia’s race team sufficient budget to elbow aside big spenders Ducati and KTM in a successful drive for MotoGP glory.

Church of MO: 2003 Best of the Best

By John Burns Now we need a good reason and a Master Plan: 20 years ago we just needed three cool motorcycles and an open invitation to California Speedway (which I hear just hosted its last trackday. RIP.) Earlier we’d already deduced the Kawasaki ZX-6R was the best 600, the Suzuki GSX-R1000 was the best 1000, and the Aprilia Mille R was the best Twin (and the one you most wish you’d embezzled). So why not compare them all to each other?
