2014 Indian Chief (2014)
For sale we have an inaugural, numbered (1028) bike from the first 1901 off of the new Polaris Indian engine design line. It has the fuel injected Thunderstroke 111 Powerplant with a smooth 6 speed transmission, cruise control, keyless ignition and potent front and rear disc brakes as part of the ABS. If you know your Indian history, the bike was designed to look very similar to the ’46-’53 flathead Indian Chiefs of the Springfield era with all the modern technology. It’s in Springfield Blue and has about every possible accessory and engine option you can have. It has just over 7,000 miles and can rock along at 70+ MPH all day long comfortably. I am the original owner and here is a list of the additions that have been put on the bike since I have owned it: - All new 2015/16 leather since the original 2014 leather faded (includes fringed driver seat, passenger seat, fringed saddlebags, tank panel, front and rear fringed mudflaps, removable driver backrest and removable passenger backrest) - Stage 2 Performance Cams. When used in conjunction with the Indian Motorcycle Stage 1 Exhaust and High Flow Air Cleaner, these 50-state emission-compliant cams unleash over 13% more horsepower and over 7% more torque than a stock engine. - Stage 1 Exhaust and fishtail muffler tips - High Flow Air Cleaner - Front and rear fender rails - Seat rail - Luggage rack - Highway pegs - Kuryakyn chrome rear taillight trim - Kuryakyn chrome oil cooler cover - Kuryakyn driver footboards, shifter pedal, brake pedal (also includes the passenger footboards I never mounted on my solo setup) - Chrome inserts to replace passenger pegs (since I had a solo setup) - 2 years remaining on the Polaris Total Protection extended warranty that is transferrable to the new owner. It’s good to 11/02/18. It also comes with the stock footboards, shifter rubber, brake pedal, passenger pegs, mufflers and air cleaner. In addition, I will throw in an Indian bike cover and a slightly used XXL Indian Mesh jacket and rain suit if you’re interested.2016-10-23 04:44:06Glen Ellyn, Illinois, United States740000 -

2014 Indian Chief (2014)
Selling my 2014 Indian Chief Vintage with 4,090 miles. This beautiful motorcycle is a joy to ride, and incredibly smooth. I recently installed V&H mufflers for a little more "throaty" sound. The photos should say everything about the bike.2016-10-11 04:47:08Dravosburg, Pennsylvania, United States417,000.00 -

1952 Indian Chief (1952)
1952 Indian Chief - Blackhawk - Roadmaster - 80 Chief This was Bob’s personal 1952 "80" Indian Chief. It was restored around 1980, has matching numbers CS6080, it's an early 1952, the first one off the assembly line was CS6001. This was restored very close to original, but there were some things dad wanted that weren't original, there's some extra chrome and it's not Indian's Seafoam Blue, it is Ford's Grabber Blue. Now for a little Indian history. When Indian was still in business, even if you were a dealer, if your parts order wasn't over a certain amount, instead of the order going directly to the factory it went to your closest distributor. There was one in California, one in Chicago and one in Philadelphia. Bob, in 1959 or 1960, bought all the old Indian parts, 1953 and earlier, from the Philadelphia East Coast Dealer Distributor, Gene Shillingford and Sons. At that time it was around 50 tons of NOS Indian parts, that's where a lot of the New Old Stock parts came from that we used on this motorcycle. Some of the other NOS parts, like the two fenders, chainguard and gastanks came from the person that purchased all of the parts from the Chicago distributor. The other NOS parts used on this bike that I know of for sure are: Handlebars Handle Grips Shift Lever Luggage Rack Speedo BSC Ignition Switch Dash Light Stoplight Switch Kicker Lever Dimmer Switch Headlight Horn Bracket Front Brake Lever Rear Defender Bumper And of course the two Fenders, Chainguard and Gastanks mentioned above Below are the original Indian parts that were used that weren't NOS but I know dad chose the closest thing to it: Dash Panel Linkert M352 Carb Petcocks Front Fender Tip Rear Bumper Generator, Band and Bracket All Engine Cases Cylinders Heads Transmission Case & Tower Rods Flywheels Horn Rear Safety Bars Brake Drums Brake Panels Wheel Hubs Original Headbolts with the Raised Letter "N" on them Primary Covers-Inner and Outer Fork Top Covers Front Fork Assemblies Rear Shock Assemblies Roadmaster Emblem on Fork Shield Aztec Indian Emblem on Fork Shield Spotlight Brackets Seat T Seatpost Assembly Chummy Seat Helper Spring Assembly Chummy Seat Spring Bracket and U Bolts (attached to motorcycle) Chummy Seat Pan Five Piece Seat Rail Assembly There's definitely more, this is what I know of for sure. It's been quite a long time since we restored this one. The main reproduction parts that were used on this motorcycle are rubber parts and decals. It also comes with a white Indian Chummy Seat, the special ordered earlier type seat pan, just like this bike came with the seatpost and seat bracket, rather than the normal bench type chummy seat that was standard. 52 and 53 Chiefs could be ordered with a solo seat or the earlier style chummy seat and they normally came with right hand throttle and left hand shift. This one was ordered with the left hand throttle, right hand shift. Right now the bike has 24,330 miles on it since the restoration. 20 of those I just put on in the last couple weeks and there's probably going to be a few more until it gets purchased! I know there was at least one top end job done on it so there isn't that many miles on the top end. Everything works and runs good and it's a STRONG runner. It does have a few little nicks and dings here and there in the paint, you can see some wear on certain parts like the saddle bag and seat. Dad rode the bike, he used the bike, it was not a trailer queen, it was used the way it was intended to be used, it was rode. So this isn't one of those "zero mile since restoration" motorcycles. And as you can see it still looks very presentable. On July 24, I took this bike back to Springfield, Massachusetts for Indian Day. I rode it up State Street to the factory for a few pics.2016-07-28 04:57:52Etters, Pennsylvania, United States2444,000.00 -

2024 Aprilia RS457 Review – First Ride
Fri, 29 Mar 2024A refreshing gateway drug into the world of Aprilia Photos: Alex Photo Picture it: you’re a new or newer sport rider who aspires to own an Aprilia. You could go with the RSV4, which you ultimately want to graduate to eventually, but it’s a terrible idea to get one right off the bat. The RS660 could be a decent choice, depending on your abilities, comfort level, and talent.
2024 Aprilia RS 660 Extrema Review
Thu, 28 Dec 2023Track trickster Photos by Aprilia Aprilia’s measured but inexorable rise to the front of the MotoGP pack in recent months, with two victories in three races plus a Sprint race win, all inside the space of 30 days, has reaffirmed the Piaggio-owned brand’s sporting credentials at the highest level. [Unfortunately for them, this was the extent of Aprilia’s race wins for the year -TS] It’s also served as a parting testimony to the late Roberto Colaninno, Chairman/CEO of Piaggio who passed away on August 19, just days after his 80th birthday and a fortnight after Aleix Espargaró’s Silverstone race victory saw Aprilia turn the tables on its Ducati rivals. For stock market wheeler-dealer Colaninno deserves credit for taking his eye off the balance sheet long enough to give Aprilia’s race team sufficient budget to elbow aside big spenders Ducati and KTM in a successful drive for MotoGP glory.
Aprilia Tuareg: 5 Things You Need to Know

Church of MO: 2003 Best of the Best
Sun, 22 Jan 2023By John Burns Now we need a good reason and a Master Plan: 20 years ago we just needed three cool motorcycles and an open invitation to California Speedway (which I hear just hosted its last trackday. RIP.) Earlier we’d already deduced the Kawasaki ZX-6R was the best 600, the Suzuki GSX-R1000 was the best 1000, and the Aprilia Mille R was the best Twin (and the one you most wish you’d embezzled). So why not compare them all to each other?
2023 Aprilia RS660 Extrema First Look
Tue, 08 Nov 2022The RS660 goes on a diet thanks to SC Project and some carbon fiber. Aprilia is celebrating the success of the RS660 worldwide (and claiming it’s the best-selling sportbike in Europe) with this – the RS660 Extrema, the sportiest version of the RS660 family. The name is modeled after that of the Aprilia 125 Extrema, one of the highest-performing and fastest eighth-liter bikes ever, manufactured from 1992 to 1994.
Aprilia Looks To The Future With The ELECTRICa Project
Tue, 08 Nov 2022This supermoto-ish-looking thing is Aprilia‘s “vision of mobility for the youngest riders of the near future.” So, forget Millenials or even Gen Z, this Aprilia ELECTRICa project is aimed at Generation Alpha – a cohort of kids who, at the oldest end of the spectrum, are currently in junior high school. The Aprilia ELECTRICa project at EICMA 2022. Photo by Ryan Adams Aprilia envisions the future as a space of freedom, where remote working is the norm, yet digital interconnectivity remains at an all-time high.
Church of MO: 2012 Literbike Streetfighter Shootout - With Video!
Sun, 16 Oct 2022Ten years ago, Tommy, Trizzle, and the Duke were feeling their oats as they manned about town on a trio of naked torpedoes. “When it came to forming a mental picture of riding one or the other, we also agreed the sexy Speed Triple will pick up more chicks than the Aprilia. The Tuono’s manufacturer claimed it was for “the rider who, given the chance, would use a race bike just to go for a coffee.” Meanwhile, the MV Agusta’s combination of short wheelbase and mid-range torque keeps the Brutale’s front wheel in the air, aided by the shortest overall ratios in the first two gears.
Aprilia Introduces The Most Extreme RSV4 Yet - The XTrenta
Fri, 02 Sep 2022An RSV4 with MotoGP levels of aero, including the under wing. To celebrate 30 years since Aprilia won its first world championship title, Aprilia (or, more appropriately, the racing division) is introducing this, the RSV4 Xtrenta. Encompassing the same basic profile the RSV4 has carried since its birth over a decade ago, the Xtrenta is defined by the level of aerodynamic work the Noale factory has applied from its MotoGP program.
Showdown: 2022 Aprilia Tuareg 660 Vs. Yamaha Tenere 700
Thu, 25 Aug 2022Middleweight adventure bikes duke it out on a 2,000 mile tour Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield | Videos by Sean Matic As we motored slaunchways across Utah, the late daylight stretched our shadows and cast golden hues against the tall canyon walls, further accentuating the contrast between the rust colored ancient seabeds peppered with lush green juniper and muted sage. The lavender sky over Bryce faded as we continued westward on Hwy 12. Refusing to pack a second visor for my Shoei Hornet X2, I lifted the dark smoke shield as I led our crew into the dark dense forest, keeping my line of sight just above the Ténéré’s windscreen in an attempt to protect my peepers from the onslaught of kamikaze insects.
Church of MO: 2002 Aprilia Mille R
Sun, 12 Jun 2022Photos by Robert Pandya Shut UP, no way was this 20 years ago! Maybe this 2002 Aprilia Mille R stands out in memory because the year after 911 was so uneventful? First we invaded Afghanistan, then Congress approved the Iraq War Resolution – and Dick Cheney was acting POTUS for a few glorious hours while George W.
