Internet Porn Company to Sponsor Paul Bird Motorsports MotoGP Team

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Earlier this year, we reported on Dakar racer Hugo Payen and his X-rated sponsor, pornographer Marc Dourcel. Payen seems to have started a trend as British MotoGP team Paul Bird Motorsports has signed a sponsorship deal with erotic movie website MinxFlix.com. The website will back PBM’s Michael Laverty and Yonny Hernandez who will ride on CRT machines featuring Aprilia V4 engines and its own proprietary chassis developed with builder GPMS.

The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. Aprilia Announce 2014 Model Range

Fri, 31 Jan 2014

Aprilia has today released its 2014 model range, with the $20,499 RSV4 Factory APRC ABS headlining the Italian marque’s impressive lineup. You can see the full list of 2014 models below, but first we’ll begin with two interesting omissions from the list: The Dorsoduro 1200 and Caponord. According to Aprilia, the Dorso 1200 won’t be coming stateside in 2014, while the Caponord will arrive later this year badged as a 2015 model.
