Rossi's Smart

The best piece of 2011 Rossi merchandise so far has to be this Smart car I spotted last week in the Jerez paddock. Maybe Vale himself will have one as it would easily fit into a corner of his humungous new motor home I posted on here a few weeks ago. I was down there with Taylor for the final round of the Spanish Championship (CEV) and just like BSB there was a great end of season atmosphere in the paddock.

Aprilia has revealed the latest version of its potent new literbike, the RSV4 R. The R retains the same 65-degree V-4 engine (with 180 claimed horsepower) and the aluminum chassis as the previously unveiled “Factory” version but uses a few lesser-spec components to keep the costs down. WSBK 2013: Nurburgring Race Report

Tom Sykes has taken over the lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings after splitting race victories with Chaz Davies at Germany’s Nurburgring circuit. Both races ended prematurely however with red flags during the final laps. Pata Honda‘s Jonathan Rea and FIXI Crescent Suzuki‘s Leon Camier both crashed on the 18th lap of Race One after running into oil spilled on the track from Pedercini Kawasaki racer Federico Sandi‘s ZX-10R.
