I have a mint condition 2002 Yamaha YZF 426 that is the last year of the 426 and this machine will throw you if you arent holding on to it. I am only looking to sell it so please no trades. I have renthal bars and besides that the bike is mostly stock. Kenny Roberts R1 Auction Nets $87,000 for Charity

Roberts and late night television star Jay Leno were the special guest auctioneers for the R1 at Mecum’s Motorcycle Auction in Monterey, Calif.

So much so that Yamaha has announced a unique opportunity to bid on a historic set of road racing leathers, boots, gloves, and helmet as worn by Edwards during this, his final season in MotoGP. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Feed the Children, which is Yamaha Motor Corporation’s official corporate charity.
