Americade Begins Tomorrow, Saturday June 1st

The “World’s Largest Touring Rally,” Americade, begins tomorrow, June 1. For the first time ever, the event will be a week-long event filled with guided rides, parties, events, giveaways, and so much more. Centered in and around Lake George Village in upstate New York, Americade takes full advantage of being on the doorstep of the Adirondacks, providing gorgeous mountain vistas and plenty of activities on and off the bike.

Yamaha Teases R25 / R3 and Tricity Reveal on March 25

Yamaha released a new microsite teasing the launch of two models, expected to be the production versions of the YZF-R25 (or perhaps YZF-R3 for certain markets) and the Tricity leaning three-wheeled scooter. Yamaha Reports Q1 2012 Results

Yamaha reported a 5.3% decrease in worldwide motorcycle sales over the first quarter of 2012 despite a 25% increase in North American sales. In the quarter ended March 31, 2012, Yamaha sold 1.599 million motorcycles worldwide, down from 1.689 million motorcycles sold over the same quarter in 2011. Most of the decline was due to Yamaha’s performance in the Asian market.
