Used YAMAHA YZ450F 2009 (I bought it new from my local Yamaha dealer in 2011), starts easy, runs good, owned by 63-year-old man (me). I am the original owner of this bike. Clean title.

I recently installed new:  FMF slip-on muffler & carb re-jet kit to match new muffler, plastic fenders and radiator shrouds, graphics kit, seat, o-ring chain.

New blank white number plates included.  Kenda Millville2 tires with heavy-duty tubes installed & are still in good condition.

This bike has never needed any upgrade or repair work done to it & it starts easy & has been very reliable.

Has Scott’s Performance stainless steel oil filter installed for easy cleaning and re-use.  Has had a recent oil change with 15-50 Racing Oil.

Stainless front brake hose installed.

Yamaha released a video looking back at Josh Hayes’ 2011 AMA Superbike season culminating with his second consecutive championship. The video takes a round-by-round look back at the season as Hayes and his Yamaha R1 duked it out with essentially a phalanx of Suzuki GSX-R1000 riders led by seven-race winner Blake Young. Highlights include the hard-fought duel between Hayes and Young at Mid-Ohio, Hayes and Tommy Hayden swapping the lead on the final lap at Laguna Seca and the title-clinching finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Day 9 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Increases Overall Lead

The ninth stage took the field to the northernmost point of this year’s Dakar. The riders descended from yesterday’s plateau through the Atacama desert towards the Pacific Ocean. Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.

AMA to Combine Daytona Sportbike and Supersport Classes in 2015

AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.
