Used YAMAHA YZ450F 2009 (I bought it new from my local Yamaha dealer in 2011), starts easy, runs good, owned by 63-year-old man (me). I am the original owner of this bike. Clean title. I recently installed new: FMF slip-on muffler & carb re-jet kit to match new muffler, plastic fenders and radiator shrouds, graphics kit, seat, o-ring chain. New blank white number plates included. Kenda Millville2 tires with heavy-duty tubes installed & are still in good condition. This bike has never needed any upgrade or repair work done to it & it starts easy & has been very reliable. Has Scott’s Performance stainless steel oil filter installed for easy cleaning and re-use. Has had a recent oil change with 15-50 Racing Oil. In a move further supporting my argument that R1s are purpose-built racebikes with lights and mirrors to make them legal on the roads, for 2023 Yamaha is introducing the R1 GYTR – an R1 prepared specifically for track duty, without any of the homologation pieces for roadworthiness (don’t worry, the standard R1 isn’t going anywhere).

Mark Miller To Ride For Vercarmoto In 2014 TT Zero
Tue, 18 Mar 2014After finishing in fifth place with Chris McGahan in the SES TT Zero in 2013, Italian based Team Vercarmoto, who made their debut in the event in 2012, has announced that American Mark Miller will ride for them in the 2014 race. American Miller is seen as a specialist in the category and boasts a respectable track record in the Isle of Man TT Zero class with the runner up position in 2011 and 3rd place in 2012 to go with his 2010 race victory. The American is also one of only three riders to break the prestigious 100mph mark around the iconic 37.73 mile TT Mountain Course on an electric bike, a feat he achieved in the 2012 race.
