Yamaha YZF description

I am selling my one owner 2006 Yamaha YZ250F. It has super low hours, was originally my wife's bike and I've ridden it a few times a year (vet rider).

All stock except for the following:
Dr. D radiator lowering kit
Devol radiator guards
ASV levers
Aluminum brake guards/upgraded skid plate
Retro graphics/white plastics
Renthal sprocket/DID chain
Race Ready stainless oil filter
Pro taper bars (Reed bend)
Dunlop rear w/ 2 rides on it

The pics show how clean and low hour this is, check out the cases! Valves are in spec, never have needed adjustment. Only issue is a small oil leak from behind the countershaft.  Easy fix, just no time to do it, getting ready to move.

I have the lein satisfied/title holder release paperwork and registration is current.

This item is pick-up only in Valley Center, California.  No shipping is available for this bike, sorry.  Would be willing to meet at other locations in the San Diego county area (possibly other Socal areas), send me a message in advance.

2013 Yamaha XT250 Receives Fuel Injection

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

The Yamaha XT250 dual sport is getting a fuel injection system for the 2013 model year, replacing the previous model’s 33mm Teikei carburetor. Apart from fuel injection and new graphics, the only other changes are a new TCI ignition system in place of the 2012 model’s CDI ignition, and a slightly larger gas tank (2.6 gallons versus 2.4 gallons on last year’s model). The 249cc air-cooled SOHC engine and five-speed transmission remains unchanged.
