For sale is a gorgeous 2006 Yamaha R6 Championship Edition Sportbike. The motorcycle is 600cc. Currently the bike has approximately 2700 miles on her. The bike has a clean title. There are minor cosmetic scratches on the right side by the headlight shown in one of the pictures. The bike has multiple after-market upgrades including:
-Aftermarket yellow windscreen
-MJS Header
-Termignoni Exhaust
-Aftermarket front turn signals
-Aftermarket rear tail-light assembly
This is a 50th Championship Edition and rare; I constantly get compliments and heads to turn. Pickup is preferred in Berlin, WI. If you would like to ship, I can accommodate that but it will be an additional charge. Upon purchase, I require a $1000 down payment via paypal and full payment within 7 days. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
