2004 Yamaha Yzf450 , 04 YZ450F, excellent bike for the novice or advanced. Kick and go, bike is in great running and cosmetic condition and is equipped with a full FMF system, power bomb header and Q4 slip on with forest approved spark arrestor. Front tire almost new back has well over half life remaining, chain and sprockets are newer and in great condition, as well as the front and rear breaks. Bike just has a fresh oil and oil filter change, air filter and coolant change. Great compression and valves done about 6-8 months ago, and since has only had maybe 10-15 hours put on it. Yamaha Pro Am madness, the best one make championship ever?
Sat, 18 Dec 2010I’m biased of course, but the best one make road race championship has to be the Yamaha RD 350LC Pro Am series. Back in the days when manufacturers had spare cash (1980 to be precise), Mitsui Yamaha organised this televised championship at major British race meetings to promote the recently launched, and now iconic, Yamaha RD350LC. Twenty four riders (twelve established and twelve rookies) were chosen by a panel of experts then given a completely free season of racing with a very generous prize fund thrown in.

Wed, 05 Jun 2013The Michael Dunlop Show continues with the 24-year-old Northern Irish racer winning his fourth race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. His latest triumph was a victory in the second Monster Energy Supersport race, making Dunlop just the third rider to ever record four wins in a single TT week. Like his win in the Royal London 360 Superstock race, Dunlop ran most of the race in second place before setting a blazing final lap time for a come-from-behind win.
Catalina Island (California) Grand Prix Slated for 2010 Return [video]
Wed, 26 May 2010The Catalina Grand Prix was last run in 1958 on Santa Catalina Island, an island community situated approximately 22 miles south-southwest of greater Los Angeles. Efforts by the AMA, AMA District 37, Big6 (a smaller collection of clubs within the D-37 region) and promotional company My Cuz Vinnie Promotions LLC, have secured December 3-5, 2010 as dates for the event, with a 100-mile professional race held on the 5th. In 2008 vintage motorcycles were displayed on Crescent Ave.
