Yamaha YZF tech info
Yamaha YZF description
2001 Yamaha Yzf600r , I am selling my 2001 Yamaha YZF600r sport bike. It has a clean Nevada title in my name. It is very similar to a Yamaha R6, but the YZF600r has a Deltabox frame. It is more comfortable for longer rides and has slightly less top-end speed, so it is great for newer sport bike riders. The bike has a little over 19,000 miles on it. I just changed the oil and flushed/refilled the coolant. I only use fully synthetic 5W20 in it, as well as premium gasoline. I cleaned and rebuilt the carburetors last week and replaced the needle valves and all rubber gaskets and o-rings. While I was in there, I installed a DynoJet stage 1 jet kit, so the main jets and jet needles were also replaced. To compliment the jet kit, I installed some new spark plugs. The bike is running like a champ. Some of the upgrades I have done to the bike: -Double bubble windshield -Mirrors with integrated turn signals -HID Xenon headlight -520 chain (stock is 530) -14/47 gearing (stock is 15 teeth on the front sprocket, 47 on the rear... dropping a front tooth or adding a rear tooth adds a little low end power) -Yoshimura RS-3 stainless steel exhaust -Recently replaced the throttle cable because the old one was stretched out -Recently replaced the battery with a gel battery (gel batteries are better than traditional acid batteries for hot climates because it takes much longer for the gel cells to dry out) -Upgraded and replaced all the brake pads last year -Undertail eliminator with rear lights and LED turn signals integrated -Painted the engine covers black -Wrapped all fairings in white vinyl -Added an orange fairing bolt kit which looks GREAT with the white fairings and black engine As you can tell, this bike has been my baby for a long time. It has never been raced, stunted, or dropped. All routine maintenance and upgrades have been completed by me so I know they were done correctly. $3,000.00 702-625-4165

Rossi’s Ranch: Valentino’s Personal Playground
Tue, 23 Jul 2013What does Valentino Rossi do when he’s not riding his Yamaha M1 around the best racetracks in the world? He relaxes at home in Tavullia, Italy, and rides motorcycles around his newly developed dirt track dubbed, “Rossi’s Ranch.” “It’s like a dream from when you’re a child,” says Rossi. “You hope at one moment you can buy your own racetrack.” It’s safe to say Rossi is financially stable enough at this moment in time to where he can make his childhood dream a reality.
