Yamaha YZF-R description

It has come time to sell my motorcycle. I am the second owner of this r6 and ALL the modifications have been done by me. The original owner and myself have babied this bike. Oil changed every 2500mis with Mobil1 4T and a Mobil1 oil filter (M1-108.) This bike has NEVER been wrecked or stunted! I do not stunt and have no idea how. Here's a list of modifications:-Power Commander PCV-EVO-Tech 1/4 turn gas cap w/ blue hardware-Powder coated swing arm, frame and wheels blue-Fren Tubo type 3 brake lines with blue banjos-Milled and lightened rear rotor-Motodynamic smoked tail light (2 mons old!)-09 Raven forks-08 Rear shock serviced by RaceTech with 165 pound spring-Scotts Steering stabilizer (3 mnths old)-2005 Infiniti FX35 projector headlamp retro fit-Halo SMD turn signals (no1 else has has this)-400 blue leds tucked all over the bike with easy weatherproof quick disconnects.-Shogun frame sliders-Sato racing rearsets-TripageLED sixteen led rear pegs for turn signals-Customled slow rate flasher relay-Yamaha OEM seat cowl-Driven steel sprockets -1/+2 -Dunlop Q2 tires-ZeroGravity windscreen-Renthal laser etched clip ons-CRG shorty adjustable levers-Leo-Vince full exhaust, ceramic coated-Euro signal switch with hazards!-Brand new maint free battery!-2 euro keys, one black and one blue (still blank)-Block off plates-spark Plugs done about 4k miles ago with NGK'sCons:-The sprockets are in attractive shape but needs a chain.-PCV has a good map to ride on but needs tune for better MILES-PER-GALLON or the dynojet AutotuneMileage reads 34xxx miles but is incorrect. I fried mine when soldering on it and had to buy another 1 with higher mileage a few years ago. An educated guess at mileage is around 20-22k of babied miles with also having -1/+2 for 85% of the bikes life. I believe that is everything but I might be missing something. Bike will come with rear seat as well. The stabilizer and tail light were birthday gifts which was in sept. And I only put about 250mis on damper and fresh oil change. I have a stock pile of Mobil 4t so I will give some quarts away with bike. I didnt ride this bike hard the tires show that. It wasnt worth ruining all my hard work. Bike is plasti dipped flat black right now. Any questions about the bike feel free to email, call or text Do not lowball do not ask to purchase a part off of it. I will not even entertain with a response. TITLE IN HAND and it is clean. Bike has ALWAYS been garage kept! Asking price $6,500Possible trades plus cash for a smaller 250-450cc bike plus cash on your end. Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

And in my front room this evening...

NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.
