Yamaha YZF-R description

This bike has always been garage kept and is in great condition. Adult ridden and maintained. This bike has never been laid down, nor raced. The bike has a 12'' stretch and a 240 rear tire which to me rides just like its not stretched. Full exhaust not a slip on. The bike also has air suspension. It has low miles as you can see for the year. Really the pictures does it no justice. Nothing is wrong with this machine. The right side rear top bracket is missing from riding but that's a easy fix. Custom, Custom is all I can say! I will not take any trades. Please have your Finances in order. Any questions you may have I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge. Happy bidding to all and thanks!!

Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.

The announcement confirmed our report last week that it would include an electric scooter called the “NEO’s”, but the 50cc-equivalent model was only scratching the surface. The presentation provided a general outline of Yamaha’s approach to electrification, though it did leave us wanting more.

Yamaha Unveils 2012 MotoGP Livery – Massive Gallery and Video

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Yamaha has pulled the covers off the 2012 edition of its YZR-M1, the machines which racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies will ride to compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. While last year’s M1 was predominantly blue, the new 1000cc version of the M1 sports more white paint with wide bands of Yamaha blue on the front fairing and along the side, flowing along the line of the seat. Like most MotoGP squads, Yamaha doesn’t want to be too specific about its MotoGP bike’s potential, estimating the power output from the crossplane crankshaft engine at over 240 hp.
