    Conditions:  The bike looks amazing, however there is paint that was dissolved due to gas right around the tank fill whole and very small section by left fender.  Features:  This bike was built by McCoy Racing, every single thing on the bike is after market.  Even the dashboard (AIM Sprot digital data logging dash board)  and kick stand are custom.  Some of the performance parts include air shifter, stretched; nitrous set up with purge, hyperpro steering damper, huge RC injectors, Cyko Racing Wheels,  Brocks/Hindle sidewinder exhaust,  BPD2 stand alon engine management system.  Too much to list here is the website with all the items.  http://www.tobefast.com/custom-white-nitrous-yamaha-r1-pr-2783442.html      The bike is designed for the track.  Not made for cursing or daily driving.  The tank was cut in order to have an extra fuel pump.  So it only holds 1.3 gallons of gas, you literally need to fill up every 15 minutes.  The bike is amazing looking, lots of chrome.        Down payment of 500 dollars required immediate if purchase through buy now.     Shipping and payment:  I will not ship this bike requesting pick up only.

    Relisted because a complete flake ignored me and didn't pay....so if you don't have the funds, don't buy it....please !  One of a kind story on a one of a kind bike.  1999 Yamaha R1 purchased new at Capitol Yamaha in Sacramento, CA.  Ridden lightly for one year, then parked and started once a week.  Owner became ill and never rode it again.  His son in law would come over apparently to keep this bike and other vehicles started and running.  It is totally original, never altered, never down or dropped in any way and absolutely gorgeous.  I do not have time to give it a toothbrush and Q-tip detail like I do on my bikes, but it would be museum quality after that.  It is pristine.  I had the entire bike checked out at a cycle shop yesterday and they could not believe what they were looking at. The bike shows 3094 miles and that is original.  The shop changed fluids, adjusted the chain and checked over everything.  The technician stated it is obviously original and he even took off the plastics to make sure it was authentic, original and as nice as he thought.  A+ condition in every way was his comment.  The bike has been stored on a trickle charger.  It starts, runs and drives, perfectly.  Tires are obviously older, though NOT cracked, so that would be my only recommendation to the buyer.   Maybe new tires to be extra safe on such a nice bike. The bike is bone stock and comes with both keys, the original key tag given on purchase and the metal key tag to have more keys made if needed.  A friend of mine offered me the bike from the estate along with two other cars.  All are perfect with low, low, miles.  This bike however is the gem of them all.   I own this bike personally, but since I am a car dealership owner, California buyers will pay sales tax and lic transfer.  The license is good through 10/2014 for California buyers, so you will only pay $15.  Out of state buyers obviously pay no tax or lic fees.

It has a track type lowering link allowing the suspension to be lowered in the rear to either a 1" or 3 " ride height which is great for shorter riders. It comes with the original factory link if you wish to return the bike to its full ride height aswell which is very easy to do. All maintainence has been done.

Yamaha Tenere 700 Raid Designs Preview Production Model

Yamaha has filed designs that reveal what the production version of the Ténéré 700 Raid will look like. The Ténéré 700 Raid was shown at EICMA in prototype form as an even more off-road capable version of the Ténéré 700. While the prototype was essentially a Ténéré 700 modified with Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR) performance parts, the designed filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office appears ready for series production.

Yamaha R6 to Continue Racing in Supersport Next Generation Category

No R6 replacement for the near future Last month, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) provided the first look at the new “ Supersport Next Generation” models that will redefine middleweight racing class. Starting with the 2022 season, the World Supersport class (and their equivalents in various national racing series such as MotoAmerica) will add new models such as the Ducati Panigale V2, MV Agusta F3 800, MV Agusta F3 Superveloce, Triumph Street Triple RS, Suzuki GSX-R750, and the 636cc Kawasaki ZX-6R. The primarily 600cc models that previously represented the class will continue for one more season, before the Supersport Next Generation models take over completely in 2023.

Yamaha Announces MT-10 And MT-10 SP For 2022

This news should come as a surprise to nobody, but it’s still equally as exciting to finally get the official confirmation: Yamaha is bringing an updated MT-10 to the US. Maybe more exciting is the announcement that Yamaha is also bringing an MT-10 SP here as well. We reported earlier this month that a new MT-10 was coming, but at the time, the report was only confirmed for Europe.

As of this writing, the 2022 MT-10 has not been confirmed for the U.S., but we expect that will happen soon. Visually, Yamaha gave the MT-10 a styling refresh, giving it a new, less-angular face.

That includes an 889cc inline Triple and new Deltabox-style frame. As of this writing, the new 2022 Yamaha XSR900 has not been announced for the U.S., but we expect to get news on that front soon.
